Baithka is also known as Aasan and Katakshna, it is the piece of woolen mat on which one sits while doing Samayik.
Baithka or Katakshna is used to protect Prithvikay and Vayukay jiv (micro-organism). It is suggested not to sit on the floor without Aasan. It comes in various colors and designs.
